The Story
We want to be honest with you.
For years, this community has shown up. Every Friday for Jummah. Every Ramadan for Taraweeh. Every weekend for Quran classes. Rain or cold, they show up. Sixty people gathering at 72 Victoria Street, Warragul, the only place to pray in 45 kilometres.
And every single month, we hand a cheque to someone else's landlord.

For a building we will never own.
That money, your community's money, disappears. No equity. No asset. No ownership. Just gone. And in Year 5, when the lease ends, we start again. Looking for somewhere to pray.

In 2016 there were 80 Muslims in this shire. By 2021 there were 192. More than doubled in five years. The shire's population has now grown to over 62,000. The Muslim community is growing. There is still only one mosque.
This isn't a fundraising pitch. It's a community being honest about where it stands.
The building we already pray in is for sale. $800,000. We've raised $100,000. Much of it from a single donor who gave $50,000 anonymously, because that's what this community does quietly, without recognition, for the sake of Allah alone.
But we need more. We need you.
Not because of what you get out of it. Because of what everyone who comes after you gets out of it. Your children. Their children. The Muslim family that moves to Gippsland in 2040 and doesn't have to wonder if there's a place for them here.
Dignity.
Stability.
A permanent home. Built by this generation. A space our children will inherit.
