Warragul Mosque — operated by BawBaw Islamic Network Australia Inc. (BINAI), a registered charity — opened to serve the estimated 250+ Muslims living across Baw Baw Shire. It now serves as the regional centre of Islamic practice for all of Gippsland, from Drouin in the west to Traralgon in the east.
The mosque is currently located at 72 Victoria Street, Warragul, in a building that has been transformed into a warm and welcoming community centre. The long-term goal is a purpose-built permanent facility — the first mosque purpose-built in Gippsland.
