The first prayer of the day, performed before sunrise. Fajr begins at astronomical dawn and must be completed before the sun rises above the horizon.

Midday
The second prayer, performed after the sun passes its zenith at midday. On Fridays, the congregational Jummah prayer replaces Dhuhr for those who attend.

Isha

Night
The fifth and final daily prayer, performed when full darkness falls after sunset. During Ramadan, the special Taraweeh prayers follow Isha each night.
