Pastoral leadership

The Imam of Warragul Mosque

Our Imam leads daily prayers, delivers the Friday khutbah, and is available to the community for pastoral care, marriage, funerals, and guidance on faith.

A grounded, approachable voice for Gippsland

Warragul Mosque's Imam is responsible for leading the five daily prayers, the weekly Jumu'ah khutbah, and — just as importantly — being present for the community as a spiritual mentor and pastoral carer.

Khutbahs are delivered in clear English with Arabic Qur'anic recitation, grounded in classical scholarship but framed for life as a Muslim in regional Australia. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome at any Friday prayer to listen.

If you're new to Islam, thinking about reverting, or simply want to ask a question — reach out. There's no judgement here, and no question is too small.
