Committee

The people behind Warragul Mosque

BINAI is governed by an elected committee of volunteers — local Muslim families who give their time so the mosque can serve Gippsland. We are accountable to our members, to the ACNC, and to the community we serve.

Religious authority & content review

Religious questions, Friday khutbahs, janazah rites, nikah ceremonies, and pastoral care at Warragul Mosque are led by our Imam — not the lay committee. Read about our Imam →

Articles and explainers on this site are reviewed by community members for accuracy against mainstream Sunni Islamic teaching. We do not give individual fatwas online — for personal religious questions, please speak to the Imam directly or visit on a Friday.

If you spot a factual or doctrinal error in any article, please email hello@binai.org.au and we will correct it.
